Meeting @ 12:31 AM

If I could explain love in one word, it would have to be trust.
Trust that he doesn’t cheat on you, trust that he doesn’t lie to
you, trust that he really likes you, trust that he will always be
there for you, trust that he can go to a party and not get high
or drunk, trust that you don’t have to worry about him breaking
up with you the second you wake up, trust that he will stick up
for you, trust that he will never fall in love with another girl,
trust that he won’t just get sick of you, and trust that he
wants you like you want him.
But we'll still have our doubts. It's funny how when someone say they love you, you can't really feel it, but when they say they don't love you anymore, you can feel every ounce of what was drain out of your entire being.
It feels like someone kicked you in the stomach, feels like your heart stopped beating, feels like that dream you know the one when you are falling and you want so desperately to wake up before you hit the ground but its all out of your control, you cant trust
anything anymore, no one is who they say they are, your life is changed forever,
and the only thing to come out of the whole ugly experience is no one will be able to break your heart like that again.
I have never been strong enough to stay. People say that walking away is the hardest thing to do, but it isn’t. staying, even when you know it will break your heart, is the hardest thing. Staying right where you are, waiting for your entire world to be ripped into pieces is much harder than walking away and starting a new one. You never know how strong you are, until being strong is the only choice you have.
But i know about taking chances, and how it’s really just about overcoming your fears. Because the truth is, every time you take a big risk in your life, no matter how it ends up, you’re always glad you took it. I hope i will be.
One more reason I should never have met you is just another reason I could never forget you. Endings are never easy.
